Balayage

What is Balayage?

The literal translation of balayage means “to sweep”, it was a technique founded by the french in which you hand paint the hair freehand with lightener to get a more natural effect to your hilights as opposed to bleaching hair with foils.

How Long does Balayage take?

Balayage in total can take between 2-4 hours on average, but you also have to remember this is a customized service regular foils grow out much more linear and not as soft as balayage.

How often do i need to touchup my Balayage?

Typically between 3-6 months on average, i always advise to come in and get a faceframe balayage or partial balayage at the 3-4 month mark. The grow out will be much softer with balayage as compared to traditional foils which need touch ups every 6-8 weeks.
